S&M Dirtbike And Pitchforks – Details
S&M Dirtbike frame and Pitchforks. This is a 20″ BMX frame and forks in original chrome with original decals. Chrome is in great condition for the age and no dings or dents in the tubes. Dropouts on both the frame and forks are good, due in part to how thick they are!
Serial number on this Dirt Bike is SMD5708 and whilst this doesn’t allow a totally accurate date, others have indicated this is around a 94/95 model based on the 990 mount brakes on the chain stays and the 1″ head tube.
This takes all the old or mid school BMX parts such as a 1″ threaded headset, 22.2mm (7/8th) seat post, 990 mount brakes and US bottom bracket.
Both the bottom bracket and head tube are machined. Also comes with the headset as shown in the photos. A mix of Bear Trap and other types.
Chrome is in better condition than the photos indicate, due in part to my grubby fingers when taking the photos…
