Suntour BMX Head Lock – Details
Suntour BMX head lock for sale. This is a silver Suntour headset lock-up, although it was originally gold and given the caustic soda treatment to strip away the anodising. Traces of gold can still be seen on the bottom that is not visible when mounted. I didn’t want to leave it too long in the solution and the gold had already disappeared from the part that mattered.
It was new old stock before being mounted on my Hutch Pro Racer vintage BMX bike. This bike was ridden for a few minutes and then became a show bike. So it’s seen very little use.
All the bits are there with the pinch bolts, plastic backing pieces and metal ring to hold everything together.
This has more of a silver rather than chrome look as seen in the photos. No spanner/wrench marks.
