SE Racing Floval Flyer – Landing Gear – Details
Floval Flyer 24″ cruiser frame and Landing Gear 24″ forks for sale. The larger version of SE Racing’s PK Ripper is the Floval Flyer. Same flat oval aluminium tubing, just in a 24″ cruiser version. Landing Gear forks are also the same design as the 20″ version with the bologna cut at the ends of the legs.
This frame was purchased as black and needed a bit of love. The usual type crack behind the bottom bracket. At the same time the dropouts and brake bridge were restored. Both tend to get chewed up on these frames over the years. All work looks flawless and the good thing with it being raw is you can see everything. No hidden, dodgy repairs!
In the photos the frame looks a bit rough. I had hoped to do it as a ball burnished version, however, I doubt this one is suitable and will need to be powder coated. Good news is that you can choose the exact colour you want! White, black, baby blue, tan or what ever you desire. When it was black it looked fine, just not what I wanted and it needed repairing anyway. Otherwise I’m all for keeping existing finishes.
Forks have chrome finish and will most likely need refinishing to match the new frame. Threads and dropouts are in great condition. Reproduction decals are widely available for these.
Comes with a set of reproduction baby blue decals. The pads I’m guessing are reproduction as well. One pad inner is missing.
