Kashimax Aero BMX Seat – Details
Black Kashimax Aero BMX seat for sale. First up, this is NOT one of the recent reproductions and I bought it back around 2006 before they were being reproduced.
The seat was new before I used it on my Hutch Pro Racer old school BMX that I’m now parting out. As you can see in the photos it still looks new. There is one white mark on the left towards the back of the seat and evident in a couple of the photos below. I have not tried to remove the mark in case I made things worse.
There are no scratches along the back of the seat, as is common, because the bike was only ridden for a few minutes then did duty as a display bike only.
I do not have the seat guts. I used a Shimano DX seat post on my bike and no use for the seat post clamp. That was sold years ago. No idea why I didn’t hang on to it for this very moment. Completely forgot I guess.
The gold on the side is not showing any signs of wear because it was hardly used and no rubbing. The original Kashimax decal is showing signs of a bit of lifting along half the edge. Nothing major.
