GT BMX Handlebars – Details
Original chrome finish GT BMX handle bars for sale. Is there a better set of BMX handlebars? I don’t think so. Many others must agree because they have been copied plenty of times. I was never a fan of the more round look of the Diamond Back handlbars and much prefered the square look of these old school BMX handlebars.
However, with parting out my Hutch Pro Racer and it being my last vintage BMX, I have nothing else to put these on so they are for sale.
They do not have any knurling where the stem clamps and are not squished from someone over tightening the stem. Obviously a few marks down there and depending on the stem you run, most will be overed any way. Same goes for where the brake levers are mounted. Definitely not enough to warrant refinishing as the rest of them is great survivor quality.
Looks like an original decal or at least one from back in the day. Not new enough to be a recent reproduction. I don’t know the finer details of where and when these decals were produced, to be any more accurate.
As shown in the photos they are 28 or 27.55 inches wide depending on how you measure from widest to widest or centre to centre. Check the photo. People also measure the height differently so I have tried to accommodate everyone. They are not the super high versions also around at the time.
